An EYFS Playground packed with action!

This EYFS Playground was design and installed by Playcubed at Allen Edwards Primary School in Lambeth, London. The playground is packed with activities for the children and includes many different elements of play that work in harmony in a relatively compact area.

Artificial Grass with graphics was used to create a central area, with a tunnel mound for children to play ‘over and under’. Roadway markings were added, which provide children with hours of fun whilst teaching them important, real-life lessons. There were also several Musical Play items included in the installation, which again are of significant value in a child’s development. The area was completed with some play units to ensure there was provision for children to be physically active. Such units are greatly beneficial for upper body strength and co-ordination skills. A Study Hut provides storage and also options for outdoor learning sessions. The area is completed with a Mud Kitchen unit, which provides children with some hands-on activities explored in more detail here.

EYFS playgrounds such as this are a fantastic asset to a schools provision.
