Royal Borough of Greenwich instructed Playcubed to design and construct a school playground for use all year round. The school wanted to include a MUGA, activities to develop and encourage gross motor skills and also a nature area where the children could plant and grow. The existing area of natural grass and trees was under-used, and in need of redevelopment and improvement. Playcubed designed an inspiring playground incorporating all weather surfacing and activities to help the primary school children’s development.
 
We completed the playground project during term time whilst the primary school was operational. As a result the installation had to be carefully coordinated and protective measures put in place. This way we ensured the safety and protection of all staff and also the pupils at all times.
 
The team at Playcubed made sure we worked closely with all stakeholders to find out exactly what they required. With this in mind, we designed a comprehensive project that provided a suitable cost-effective solution. This means that the new play space offers a long-term solution that won’t have to remodelled for many years to come.
