The playground is always a busy spot in any school – and rightly so too! But far to often we see playground surfaces that have been left to deteriorate over the years, and in some cases, posing a serious hazard. Such was the case at Earlham Primary School in Stratford, London. They realised their current playground surface’s best years were over, and decided to do something about it.

After a competitive process, Playcubed were proud to be selected to undertake the resurfacing with a permeable tarmac playground surface. We then bought it to life with some colourful and creative playground markings – these are cost effective and make a big visual impact. We also installed a range of playground equipment, wetpour safety surface, musical play units and some outdoor gym equipment. This was all bought together with a timber surround bench to enable children to sit at lunchtime.
