School Playground Renovation at West Lodge Prep School

Play areas get a lot of footfall, and over the years inevitably reach the stage where it’s time for a school playground renovation. This was the case at West Lodge Preparatory School in Sidcup, South East London.

Playcubed where called upon to give new life to an area we had installed several years ago that had seen many years of service. Merging in with the existing play space, we added a play tower, a tunnel mound and some sand, water and mud play units along with artificial grass surfacing.

We also resurfaced the playground sports pitch with MultiSport artificial grass, returning it to it’s former glory and ready to see many more years of action! Sports pitches such as these are great value for money providing hours of play for children and a superb facility for PE lessons. As they don’t take up any physical space as such, they are also a good solution for schools where space is limited.
