We’d like to wish you all a Merry Christmas! We’d also like to thank everyone who has worked tirelessly in schools and local authorities this year.
Pupils, staff and parents have faced some significant challenges and we hope 2021 brings a sense of optimism and renewal.

In years to come, we will remember 2020 will as one in which ordinary life seemed suspended. From school exams to the workplace, millions of people had to adjust and it was humbling to see the dedication we saw from staff across local authorities and in schools.
Now that the first vaccine programme has begun to roll out, we hope that more of us are able to feel cautiously optimistic about 2021.

The Children’s Commissioner acknowledged that children have suffered increased levels of stress this year. One of its surveys asked what young people do to manage stress and a quarter said that they would normally go outside.
Making outdoor space a place to be physically and mentally active creates immediate and long-term benefits. At Playcubed, we look forward to working with schools to create wonder-filled outdoor play areas and playgrounds that children deserve.
Not only do playgrounds transform how outdoor play areas look, they are an opportunity to transform lives too. We hope that 2021 will allow us to continue transforming outdoor areas for children to enjoy for years to come.
